Children naturally love variety. That's why PetitoPlay introduces a rotation of exciting sports throughout the term. The goal isn't to create little athletes — the goal is to use each sport as a fun, engaging way to develop important movement and learning skills.
As children progress through the programme they build hand-eye coordination, balance, agility, object control, body awareness, resilience and confidence. Every new sport introduces fresh challenges while reinforcing skills learned previously.
PetitoPlay combines movement, imagination and learning in a way that keeps young children engaged while developing the foundations they need for school and life. Every session is carefully designed to support:
Children build self-belief by trying new activities, making choices and celebrating personal achievement — developing the independence they need for Reception and beyond.
Running, jumping, throwing, catching and balancing — every sport introduces new movement challenges, building physical literacy and body awareness through play.
Story-led adventures require children to follow instructions, respond to challenges and stay focused — the same skills they use every day in the classroom.
Communication, turn-taking, sharing and cooperation are woven into every session — building the social and emotional foundations children need for school and friendships.
Waiting, watching, planning and problem-solving are part of every adventure — developing the attention skills needed for structured learning environments.
A rotation of different sports gives children a wide movement vocabulary — developing agility, object control and a lifelong love of being active.
Children learn best through play. Most importantly, they have fun while learning.
Our activities are tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 18 months to 5 years. Every exercise, game and challenge is age-appropriate and carefully structured.
Every class becomes an adventure. One week children might be astronauts exploring space. The next they could be superheroes saving the city. Stories help children become fully engaged while naturally developing movement skills.
We celebrate effort, participation and personal achievement. Every child progresses at their own pace. There are no winners or losers — just children having fun and growing in confidence.

PetitoPlay began around our kitchen table.
Like many parents, we both work full-time and spend our evenings and weekends trying to find the best experiences for our son, Aari.
Aari has always loved being active. He loves running, jumping, kicking balls, trying new activities and, most importantly, meeting new people. Watching him explore the world reminded us how much children learn when they're moving, playing and having fun.
As parents, we wanted to find a class that would help build his confidence, develop important life skills and keep him excited to come back every week.
What we often found was that many activities followed a similar pattern week after week. Whilst children were learning valuable skills, the sessions sometimes lacked the variety, imagination and adventure that naturally keeps young children engaged.
So we started asking ourselves a simple question:
"If we could create the perfect class for Aari, what would it look like?"
The answer became PetitoPlay.
PetitoPlay is run by Ravi and Bhavna. Ravi grew up playing a variety of sports and developed a lifelong love of being active through football, cricket and team sports. He understands the positive impact sport can have on confidence, friendships and personal growth from an early age. Bhavna brings creativity, energy and a passion for health and wellbeing. Having completed events such as the Royal Parks Half Marathon and with a natural love of working with children, she believes movement should always be fun, positive and inclusive.

Together, we share a simple belief: children learn best when they are having fun.
PetitoPlay was created for Aari, but it has grown into something much bigger.
Our vision is to build a community where children feel supported, parents feel connected and families can share in their children's development journey together.
We're building PetitoPlay alongside our full-time jobs because we genuinely believe in what we're creating. Every session, every adventure and every activity has been carefully designed with the same care and thought that we would want for our own child.
We hope your family becomes part of the PetitoPlay story too.
Every Child. Every Week. Every Win.
